Vinyl Shelf is a personally-operated, hobby-scale service for cataloging and sharing vinyl record collections. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, incorrect catalog or price information, downtime, or discontinuation of the service. Value estimates are informational only and are not appraisals or financial advice.

Accounts require Google sign-in and are approved or declined at the operator's sole discretion. Accounts may be suspended or removed for abuse, illegal content, or behavior that harms the service or its members. You may leave at any time by requesting account deletion (see the Privacy Policy).

Your collection data, notes, and lists remain yours. You grant the service only the license needed to store and display them to you and to the people you choose to share them with. Don't enter content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share, and don't submit another person's email address without their consent.

No attempts to access other members' private data, probe or overload the service, scrape the catalog at bulk, resell access, or use the service to send unwanted contact. Share links are unguessable but not secret-proof — anyone you give a link to can pass it on, so share accordingly and revoke links you no longer want live.

Catalog data and cover art come from Discogs; track previews and outbound listening links involve Apple, Spotify, and YouTube. Vinyl Shelf is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies, and their content remains subject to their own terms. Streaming previews are provided through Apple's public API and link back to the full services.

Features may change or be removed, and the service itself may be suspended or shut down at any time. If the service is discontinued, reasonable effort will be made to give members a chance to export their data first, but this is not guaranteed.
